Lucky Fix was rewarded for his consistent form with a solid win at Beaudesert today, taking out the Class 5 (1200m) by a comfortable margin.

The the early lead hotly contested, Jockey Ryan Wiggins elected to take a hold of Lucky Fix in the early stages, finding a beautiful spot in transit as the field sorted itself out over the first two furlongs.

Travelling well, third in the one-one position as the field approached the home turn, Wiggins had Lucky Fix perfectly positioned to stake his claim as the field headed for the judge.

Balancing up in the run home, Lucky Fix quickly worked through his gears, taking the lead inside of the final 100m and forging clear over the concluding stages to win by a length.

That was the fourth win from just nineteen starts for the Jet Spur gelding who also boasts a further seven placing on his record.
